Downtown Miami known for its vibrant and multicultural events has done it again. The premiere of "Miami Art+Design" was spectacular. The inaugural debut tonight brought collectors from around the world. Most of the artist were present allowing you an opportunity to speak with them directly about their passion and works. The fair runs from February 13-18, 2014. The event brought works on display from renowned artist such as Olga de Amaral, Renoir, Picasso, and Zhang Guojun.

The organizers created a pavilion "in the round" in front of Bayfront Park that featured the world's finest in art and design. A state-of-the-art custom built pavilion with 50,000 square feet of circular design was built complete with air conditioning, a beach bar on the sands, a Bistro restaurant overlooking Biscayne Bay, live music, and lectures.

Showcased were over 40 prominent international art and design galleries from around the world. Some of the galleries featured were Richard Green from London, Galerie Jacques Bailly from Paris, Moretti Fine Art from London, NY and Florence, and Galerie Vallois from New York and Paris just to name a few.

The exhibition consists of works from various periods, a dream come true for collectors as many of the pieces in the exhibition are rarely seen outside major museum collections and were made available for purchase.

Looking forward to seeing next year's collection.
